Barum Polaris 3

The Barum Polaris 3, a low-cost segment tyre, has been tested by some of Europe's most valued organizations that test tyres. The tests were carried out between 2015 and 2018. Based on the ten test results, the Barum Polaris 3 was rated as 77%, which is a very good result for a low-cost segment tyre. The testing period and the dimensions of the tyres varied across the tests. The Autobild Winter tyre test in 2015 showed that the Barum Polaris 3 was exemplary and positioned in third place out of 18 tested winter tyres in the 185/60 R15 dimension. The same test showed that the Barum Polaris 3 ranked in ninth place out of 49 winter tyres according to the braking distance test, also in the 185/60 R15 dimension. The worst results came from the Autobild Winter tyre test in 2018, where the Barum Polaris 3 held a satisfactory rating and positioned in 16th place out of 20 tested tyres in the 195/65 R15 dimension. The tyre won none of the tests, but it ranked in the top 12 in several tests. The Barum Polaris 3 had no rating in some of the tests. The testing organizations evaluated different disciplines, such as braking distance, handling, and aquaplaning. Nonetheless, the Barum Polaris 3 performed well in most disciplines and was rated as a high-quality tyre by industry testers.
