The Firestone Winterhawk 3 tyre has been tested by some of Europe's most valued tyre test organizations starting from 2015 up until 2020. This middle segment tyre has an overall rating of 61%, which is not the best result for its category. Among the tests, the Firestone Winterhawk 3 had the best performance in the 2018 ADAC Winter tyre test for 175/65 R14 dimension, where it ranked 3rd place out of 12 tyres. It also performed well in ice and snow braking. On the other hand, the worst result was in the 2020 Autobild Winter tyre test for 245/45 R18 dimension, where it ranked 32nd place out of 50 tested tyres. Overall, the Firestone Winterhawk 3 did not win any of the tests, but it was rated satisfactory in most of them.
