Fulda SportControl 2

The Fulda SportControl 2 is a low-cost segment tyre that has been tested by some of Europe's most reputable organizations for tyre tests. The first test was conducted in 2017 and the latest in 2023. In total, there were 13 test results available. The tests included braking distance, wet handling, dry handling, rolling resistance, wet circle cornering, exterior noise, aquaplaning-cross, and comfort. The Fulda SportControl 2 had its best result in the ACE Summer tyre test 2020, where it was recommended and ranked 3rd out of 9 tyres for its performance in dry handling, exterior noise, wet braking, wet circle cornering, wet handling, and wet handling-objective. Its worst result was in the Autobild Summer tyre test 2022 for 215/55 R17, where it ranked 13th out of 51 tyres in the braking distance test. Despite this, the Fulda SportControl 2 obtained an overall rating of 84%, which is remarkably good for a tyre in the low-cost segment. The tyre was not a winner in any of the tests, but it was the best in aquaplaning-cross in two of the tests conducted in 2019. In addition, it performed best in several disciplines, such as exterior noise, comfort, and rolling resistance in the 2020 Autobild Summer tyre test for 245/45 R18 tyres.
