The Pirelli Cinturato Winter 2, a premium segment tyre, was tested by some of Europe's most valued organizations that test tyres in 2022. The tests were conducted on various dimensions and periods of winter driving conditions. Among the tests, the Autobild Winter tyre test 2022 215/55 R17 gave the Pirelli Cinturato Winter 2 an exemplary rating, securing the second-place out of 19 tyres tested. Additionally, the tyre excelled in snow cornering and wet handling disciplines, achieving the best results in these categories.
However, the tyre did not perform as well in Autoklub ČR Winter tyre test 2022 225/45 R17, where it secured the 7th place out of eight tyres. The Vredestein Wintrac Pro proved to be the best tyre in this test, which was conducted on a VW Golf. Nevertheless, the Pirelli Cinturato Winter 2 scored recommended in Tyre Reviews Winter tyre test 2022 225/45 R17, securing fourth place out of nine. Again, the tyre performed best in snow cornering and wet handling.
