On our tyre tests website, we provide you a detailed comparison of the Kumho HA32 Solus 4S and Bridgestone Weather Control A005 EVO tyres, manufactured by
Kumho and Bridgestone respectively. Both of these tyres are allround and were put through rigorous tests on various surfaces for an in-depth analysis.

The Kumho HA32 Solus 4S tyre performed well on snow with good braking and mileage, earning a 9th position in the Autobild test among 11 tyres. Some of its best features include longitudal aquaplaning, price/value and snow braking. During Autobild 2022, it showcased a stable driving behaviour and short braking distances on snow. However, it had slightly extended wet/dry braking distances and moderate aquaplaning reserves. According to the Autobild 2021 summary, the tyre presented good aquaplaning safety reserves, but had increased rolling resistance and only satisfactory snow driving features.

The Bridgestone Weather Control A005 EVO outperformed the Kumho tyre in the same tests, securing the 3rd position. It particularly excelled in wet braking and dry handling, providing excellent comfort. The tyre showed short wet braking distances and lower rolling resistance, but had only satisfactory features on snow and ice and an understeering snow handling. In Autobild 2021, it was reported as an all-rounder with the best driving features on wet and dry roads, with the ability to conserve fuel and short wet braking distances.

Both of these tyres have their respective strengths and weaknesses. While the Kumho HA32 Solus 4s provides good mileage and value, it slightly underperforms in wet/dry braking. On the contrary, the Bridgestone Weather Control A005 EVO stands out for its superior braking and handling but lacks slightly in snow and ice driving.

In conclusion, both tyres provide satisfactory performance, but the Bridgestone Weather Control A005 EVO seems to be a step ahead in overall comparison. Keep in mind that the choice between these tyres will finally boil down to your individual driving preferences and conditions.
