The Maxxis Victra Sport 5, manufactured in China, holds its own in a few areas. Its best feature – as highlighted in the Autobild test – is its 'wet circle cornering'. It also showed decent performances in the 'wet handling - objective' category according to the ACE test, though it achieved a lower position in other mutual tests overall. Highlights from the autobild 2023 test revealed that the Victra Sport 5 has good aquaplaning safety reserves and secure dynamic wet handling, however, it shows average mileage and significantly delayed steering response.

On the other hand, the Pirelli P ZERO PZ4, according to the Autobild test, stands out in a wide array of categories, such as 'aquaplaning - longitudinal', 'dry handling', 'exterior noise', 'wet braking', and 'wet handling', among others. Moreover, it topped the Victra Sport 5 in most mutual tests. The sportauto 2023 test praises the P ZERO PZ4 for being very controllable and steer-able with a balanced, tending toward slight understeering, balance in wet conditions. Despite, the strong performance, it was noted to have weak wet braking and increased rolling resistance.

From the test results provided from multiple sources, it is clear that Pirelli P ZERO PZ4 manages to outperform the Maxxis Victra Sport 5 in a variety of areas, providing an overall better driving experience. Despite some shortcomings, the P ZERO PZ4 is a high-performance tyre with excellent driving characteristics, short wet and dry braking distances, but has limited mileage and comes with a high price tag. The Maxxis Victra 5, although not matching up to the Pirelli, still offers a solid performance with a specific strength in wet conditions.

In conclusion, while both are strong competitors in their field, the Pirelli P ZERO PZ4 provides a generally superior performance to the Maxxis Victra Sport 5.
