In this comparison, we are comparing a tyre from a manufacturer from Finland (Nokian) against a tyre from a manufacturer from France (Michelin). Generally, Michelin allround tyres are slightly better rated (86%) than Nokian (52%). In this particular case, the Michelin CrossClimate 2 has a better rating of 93% compared to 41% of the Nokian Seasonproof 1. The first tyre test of Nokian Seasonproof 1 was done in 2024, compared to 2021 when was the Michelin CrossClimate 2 first tested. Important for this comparison is also the AUTOBILD 2024 225/50 R17 test, where both the Seasonproof 1 and the CrossClimate 2 were tested.
